Thanks for this - will have to search out the other podcasts on this show - after I watch the show again (have it on dvd and streaming and have a coffee table book on it along with the novel by Thomas M Disch which I started to read but stopped for some reason I think i was bored if I remember well might give it another go I've been a fan of this show since it first aired in the US if my memory is accurate in 1968 on abc as a summer replacement series along with The Avengers with Diana Rigg it was an interesting summer for me I must say. Re the ending, I've seen it several times and well I think I understand it but I can't explain it an almost Zen Koan in its own way One trival note - The western episode 'Living in Harmony' as I under stand was not broadcast in the US becuase the networks got cold feet about the story line were No. 6 refuses to be the Marshal at the height of the Viet Nam war and the draft resistance it was thought to be too topical - i can only asssume that since it was a western they weren't able to go oh its just sci fi. Also one of the things about No. 6 is that you never really see him off duty as it where he knows he's being watched all the time so you never see the behing the mask he shows the village. which makes "Do not forsake" me even more of a mistake. anyway thanks for this again be seeing you Last stray thougth before this becomes an book length essay -
